Discovery+ status
Discovery+ — we can't tell right now. Here's what to try anyway.

How closely we watch this one
- Reports this hour
- 0
- Responds to us
- —
- Says it has a problem
- No
We check whether Discovery+ responds to our servers, and we watch for any outage it admits to. What we can’t yet do is call an outage from reports alone — not enough people report Discovery+ problems here yet for us to tell a real problem from an ordinary hour. So we show you the raw number and leave the interpreting to you, rather than dressing a guess up as a verdict.
That changes on its own. Once enough people report Discovery+ here, it moves to full tracking automatically — no decision required from us.
Not sure if it’s just you?
Two questions, about thirty seconds. We’ll tell you whether it’s your device, your network, or Discovery+ — and what to do about it.

These are ordered by how often they work. The two questions above will get you a specific answer faster, but if you’d rather just try things, work down this list.
Restart your router
about 5 minutes- 1.Unplug the router from the wall. If you have a separate modem, unplug that too.
- 2.Wait 30 seconds. This part matters — plugging it straight back in does not clear the fault.
- 3.Plug the modem back in first and wait until its lights stop flashing.
- 4.Plug the router back in and wait another minute.
- 5.Try again.
Force the app to close, then reopen it
about 1 minute- 1.Go back to your device’s home screen. Do not just leave the app running in the background.
- 2.On a streaming stick or smart TV, open Settings, then Apps, find the app, and choose Force stop.
- 3.On a phone, swipe up from the bottom and swipe the app away.
- 4.Open the app again and try to play something.
Clear the app’s stored data
about 3 minutes- 1.Open your device’s Settings.
- 2.Choose Apps, or Application Manager on some TVs.
- 3.Find the app in the list and select it.
- 4.Choose Clear cache. If that does not help, choose Clear data as well.
- 5.Open the app and sign in again.
Check this device’s connection
about 2 minutes- 1.Open Settings on the device, then Network.
- 2.Check the signal strength. If it is one or two bars, the device is too far from the router.
- 3.If the device uses a cable, unplug both ends and push them back in firmly.
- 4.Choose Test connection, or Check connection, if your device offers it.
Sign out and sign back in
about 3 minutes- 1.Open the app’s Settings or Account screen and sign out.
- 2.Sign in again with your email and password.
- 3.If sign-in fails, the problem is with the account rather than the device.

Common questions about Discovery+
- Is Discovery+ down right now?
- We don't know. We have no usable signal for Discovery+ right now, and we'd rather say so than guess.
- Why is Discovery+ not working for me?
- If Discovery+ is working for most people but not for you, it's one of three things: the app on that device, that device's connection, or your network as a whole. Two questions will tell you which, and each answer comes with the fix. Find out what's wrong with Discovery+
- How closely do you watch Discovery+?
- We check whether Discovery+ responds to our servers, and we watch for any outage Discovery+ admits to. What we can't yet do is call an outage from user reports alone, because not enough people report Discovery+ here for its normal level to be meaningful. That changes automatically once enough do. How we decide
- How do I report a Discovery+ problem?
- Use the "Report a problem" button on this page and pick the closest symptom. One tap, no account, no email, nothing personal. Reports for Discovery+ still count — they're what eventually move it to full tracking.
