Terms

What this site is, what it isn't, and what you can reasonably expect from it.

What this is

An informational site that reports whether streaming services appear to be having problems, and offers troubleshooting for common errors. It is free, requires no account, and is provided as-is.

Accuracy

We work hard to be accurate and we document how we decide things on the about page. We do not guarantee it. Our verdict is an inference from incomplete signals, and it can be wrong — in both directions. Decisions you make based on what you read here are your own.

Not affiliated

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any service or device manufacturer named on this site. Their names are used to describe them. Their trademarks remain theirs.

Acceptable use

  • Report problems you are actually having. Don’t submit reports you know to be false.
  • Don’t script the report system or attempt to distort the numbers.
  • Don’t attempt to overwhelm the site. It’s cached; you’ll mostly just waste your time.

Reports that look coordinated or automated are excluded from the count rather than shown. We would rather under-report a real outage than publish a fabricated one.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for losses arising from use of this site, including anything that goes wrong while following a troubleshooting step. Read the steps before you follow them, and don’t factory-reset anything you can’t afford to set up again.
