Your device could not establish the connection Netflix needs to start playing. Netflix publishes this code with a long list of numeric suffixes, but the troubleshooting is the same across all of them: power, then network, then custom settings.
Try this first
Power cycle the device fully
3 minutes- 1.Press the power button on the device once and wait one minute.
- 2.If that does not work, unplug it from power and leave it unplugged for three minutes.
- 3.Plug it back in and turn it on.
- 4.Open Netflix again. Netflix lists this exact sequence first.
