YouTube TV could not start the channel or recording on this device. Alongside the usual app and connection causes, YouTube TV has one of its own: it periodically verifies you are in your registered home area, and a failed check produces a playback error rather than a clear explanation.
Try this first
Force the app closed and reopen it
about 2 minutes- 1.Go back to your device's home screen. Leaving the app running in the background is not enough.
- 2.On a TV or streaming stick, open Settings, then Apps, find YouTube TV, and choose Force stop.
- 3.On a phone, swipe up from the bottom and swipe the app away.
- 4.Open YouTube TV again and try to play something.
