Your browser received the video but could not decode it into pictures. This is very specifically a browser-side problem and it is heavily concentrated in Chrome, where hardware-accelerated decoding conflicts with the stream format. It is not your connection and not Twitch.

Try this first

Turn off hardware acceleration

  1. 1.Open your browser's Settings and search for hardware acceleration.
  2. 2.In Chrome it is under System, labelled Use graphics acceleration when available.
  3. 3.Turn it off.
  4. 4.Restart the browser completely and load the stream again.
