The Hulu app could not get a response from Hulu's servers when it tried to start playing. It is Hulu's catch-all playback error, which is why it appears in so many different situations. In practice the fault is usually stored app data that has gone stale, or a connection that is technically working but not stable enough to hold a stream.

Try this first
Clear the Hulu app's stored data
5 minutes- 1.Open your device's Settings.
- 2.Choose Apps, or Application Manager on some TVs.
- 3.Find Hulu and select it.
- 4.Choose Clear cache. If that does not help, choose Clear data as well.
- 5.Open Hulu and sign in again.
