Crunchyroll could not start the episode on this device. More than most services, Crunchyroll blocks VPNs aggressively and licenses titles country by country, so those two account for a large share of reports. Beyond that, the usual suspects apply: stale app data and an unsteady connection.
Try this first
Force the app closed and reopen it
about 2 minutes- 1.Go back to your device's home screen. Leaving the app running in the background is not enough.
- 2.On a TV or streaming stick, open Settings, then Apps, find Crunchyroll, and choose Force stop.
- 3.On a phone, swipe up from the bottom and swipe the app away.
- 4.Open Crunchyroll again and try to play something.
