Apple TV+ could not start the video stream on this device. Apple gives very little detail in the on-screen message, but the practical causes are consistent: stale app data, an unstable connection, or an app that has fallen behind a required update. Your subscription is rarely the problem, and if it were, the message would name it.
Try this first
Force the app closed and reopen it
about 2 minutes- 1.Go back to your device's home screen. Leaving the app running in the background is not enough.
- 2.On a TV or streaming stick, open Settings, then Apps, find Apple TV+, and choose Force stop.
- 3.On a phone, swipe up from the bottom and swipe the app away.
- 4.Open Apple TV+ again and try to play something.
